Galena River Fall Half Marathon & 8k

This is a fast, flat half marathon along the scenic Galena River Trail. An 8K race option is also offered.

Hydration/ fuel stations will be at these miles: 2, 4, 6, 9, 11 & finish line.

*Packet pick-up will be Friday night October 26th from 5-8 and Saturday before the race 7-7:45. The location of packet pick-up is where the race starts, under the highway 20 bridge in Galena, the Train Depot parking area. 

**Awards Ceremony will start at 11:30 with overall male and female finisher awards and also age group awards for both races, top male and female in each division. 

ALL FINISHERS RECEIVE MEDALS AND SHIRTS IF REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 14th. 

***Due to the wonderful support our race has received we have reached enough participants to start the race in 5 waves to ensure the safety and comfort for the runners. 

1st wave, bibs 1-50 start time 8:00

2nd wave, bibs 51-100 start time 8:05

3rd wave, bibs 101-150 start time 8:10

4th wave, bibs 151-200 start time 8:15

5th wave, bibs 201-250 start time 8:20

6th wave, bibs 251-300 start time 8:25
